I know it's a Country station, the Coyote. What I was actually looking for was info on management, staff, ect.

Here's what I think about the station:

I think WCYO is a pretty good station quality-wise, but definitely not signal-wise. Notice how they now call themselves "The BIG 100" along with the original "100.7 The Coyote." I don't think that they should be calling themselves "The Big 100" knowing that their coverage area stinks! I mean come on...they could at least bump up to 50 kW and maybe get a taller tower! For comparison, take 104.1 WPAY in Portsmouth, OH or WSGS 101.1 in Hazard. They both have HUGE coverage areas, and I think they would definitely be eligible to call themselves "The BIG 104," or "The BIG 101," but not WCYO. Their coverage just doesn't reflect it. I just wish they could cover Lexington a little better (especially the north side) because I think they are better than 92.9 or 98.1.

Unless it's changed very recenly, owner is Kelly Wallingford, He is a pretty good guy, I did some engineering for him a few years ago when I was in the area, facilities are pretty good, playback system was audiovault, and all of his people were happy, and it was a fun place to work. They didn't seem overly concerned about the larger stations, Cc, H&H/Cumulus in Lexington, they mostly concentrated on their local maket, where they did quite well.

Money wasn't the best, but an overall good operation.
