I was just wondering this when reading this Sean Ross column.

I am almost 40 now and have listened to top 40 since the late 70s. I miss the stations of the early 80s.
I find today's Clear Channel top 40s and most other top 40s I hear (i.e. KRBE) kind of boring in their presentation and formatics though I may enjoy alot of the music.
Is there any station(s) today that are fun to listen to because of a high energy presentation? Big or small markets?
The only one that has really stuck out for me the past several years has been WPOW Miami which of course is rhythmic. I also kind of like Z95 here in Corpus Christi which unfortunately doesn't stream.
