Any Udates on Jay Severin ?

> Anyone have any new information regarding Jay Severin?

No but:

--WTKK has been advertising an "All Stars" show in early November--the various
talk hosts appearing live on stage (and presumably on air, too). Barnicle.
Eagan. Braude. O'Reilly. Hannity. Ingraham. Note what name was not said
(and I don't mean Imus). Hmm. Maybe they're still trying to work out a deal
with the Sage of Sag Harbor.

Meanwhile this week WTKK continues to run Hannity live 3-6 pm, with various people brought in
for the 6-7 pm hour (Mark Levin for 2 days, Monica Crowley, and Eagan and
Braude on Fri., I understand) with a tryout (or temp. fill-in?) by Michael
Graham in the 10p-1 a slot that had been, and may still be, Hannity re-broadcasts.
Just think: if a national host like Levin or Crowley does 6-7 pm, and 10 pm
goes back to refried Hannity, here will be the extent of 'TKK's locally based shows on weekdays:
--Mike Barnicle 10 am-noon
--Eagan and Braude Noon-1 pm

That's it.

Not sure if the Long Island Libertine will return or not

Thanks. Someone sent me a link which I think was printed here of Jay Severin's wife. She is a very attractive Elizabeth Hurley type. So much for Jay being a swinging single. Actually, afternoon radio is very dull without Jay Severin, or is that Poughkepsie's Jimmy Severino. As a tribute to the late Louis Nye, "High Ho, Severino..."

Re: Any Updates on Jay Severin ?

Having just returned to the area I never had the chance to miss him.
Ed Schultz sounds great. Too bad JJ is not on Oldies 103 - nice to hear familiar voices

Who cares about this Jay Severin character? Just ignore him and maybe he will stay away. Infinity can syndicate him elsewhere.
