this is what I use for my broadcasts, curious what u guys think of it. Is their any software like maybe shoutcast that I can use behind a router so I can webcast 24/7, cause I have to share a modem since my stream wont work behind a router it needs a private IP Address

I started off using the software when I was just putting my station(s) on the internet. The software is ok, you should if you can use SAM Broadcaster it's great.

Or if you want free software, try Zara Radio and it is compatible with Shoutcast. They also made a codec for Live365 which Im playing around with right now.

I've been looking for standalone players/broadcast DSP combos for all four of my stations on Live365. I say this because I have the latest version of Winamp & the SHOUTcast DSP, but even my laptop (Which is the faster & newer of my two computers) can't reliably handle ALL FOUR instances of Winamp & the SHOUTcast DSP as they stream four stations to Live365 (I especially had this problem during the overnight hours while I'm in bed sleeping & the laptop is busy doing stuff with files).

Last week, I moved the 32K streams from my laptop to the desktop since the desktop is the older & slower of the two computers & could EASILY handle those over the 128K streams which are still on the laptop. The results of this are mixed. As such, the jury is still is out (But it does look like the problem may have been solved).

But if I have a choice four instances of (What amounts to) BLOATWARE in Winamp vs. four instances of a simple player/broadcast DSP combo which can broadcast to Live365, I'd MUCH prefer the latter (Less disk space consumed this way) :D

I could also use another DSP to stream to the host server of the two shows I will make available toother stations via relay as well as podcast.

Either way, I will be checking these clients out. Thanks for the info. :D

Cheers :D
