Just doesn't seem to make sense. Had it for only a few days and then gone. Seemed like he was getting calls. Yeah, it needed some work, but it was what people were screaming for......local.

More likely, Beck's team said, "WHOA...nothin' doing. We'll jump ship just like last time." That's my completely uninformed and uneducated guess. They'd give listeners time to adjust to the change to see if it worked- more than 2 days. It's always about the money. But why they would have attempted it without approval from Beck team and CC corporate is beyond me.

My guess is this is what happened. Incidentally, WTAM also pre-empts the first hour of Beck for "The Spew," a roundtable of rants with Bob Frantz and Mike Trivisonno. Good listen. Must be OK to pre-empt him in Cleveland and not Columbus. Who knows.

Mr. Glimps said:just good old Jim Scott...part of Cincinnati radio for over 40 years. He does a terrific local show...maybe Elliott ought to give it a listen.
