ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT "THE RAZOR" MOVING TO DALLAS?

There's a rumor on the Dallas Board about him replacing a long-time PM drive host here on "The Ticket" who is on "personal leave" for unspecified reasons.

"Later this week, we will be introduced to Ralph "Razor" Barbieri from San Francisco. He is a bit traditional, however he is highly respected in West Coast sports talk, and he has family in the North Texas area. If you plan on continuing to listen to the afternoon drive-time show, it has been suggested that you get to know Razor very well.

That would be pretty shocking if he did do that. I am probably in the minority, but I really enjoy Ralph. He's usually pretty spot on with his critiques--although once in a while over the top. He's pretty objective and really doesn't strike me as a homer.

He loves Bay Area sports so I really doubt he'd go to Dallas, of all places. Plus, he has a kid here and I saw him at the Giants game once with this hot chick...

I don't think Dallas is ready for his vocabulary. Half the Bay Area is still grabbing a dictionary at 3pm just to keep up with his vernacular. I know most of it is shtick just like Gary's show, but I have to admit, he does do good interviews. His recent tirade on the co-author of GofS was beautiful and well said. 10 years ago, he wouldn't have gone off half as much.

Voice tracked, yes that would be prefect. ;) Voice tracked "LIVE" Talk Radio...Now that is the kind of techonology that will save them millions! I bet the guys from clear channel are working on that right now.

Or perhaps on ISDN because of the 2 hour time difference, that might be a better idea.

I wonder if there is an Amici's Pizza in Dallas?

What a surprise! Amici's East Coast Pizzeria
The farthest East they go is VACAVILLE!!!
So .... none in the big D

Ralph Barbieri called into Gary Radnich's 15th Anniversary show today and he mentioned that he just signed a 4-year contract with KNBR, so he'll be staying put it seems.
