Hello..my name is Bill Durham and I live in Crowley, TX. I moved here about a year ago from the Atlanta area to be close to family. I work in remote sports television, but got my start in broadcasting in Radio there in Atlanta. Enough about me, my nephew in law is dying from Brain Cancer. He was diagnosed a little over a year ago with a tumor the size of a ping pong ball in his right frontal lobe, that was successfully removed. But now, he has more tumors growing that are inoperable. We found out today that he has about 14-18 weeks to live. He is a huge fan of Texas red dirt music and has always wanted to write songs. About a month ago, his friend Susan Gibson came to my house to have a song writing session with my nephew, to finish a song he started about leaving his home town of Greenville to start his adult life. I had a piece of music that I had written and recorded, so that music was used for his song. Susan sang the song when it was finished and I would like to try and get the song played on local radio.. just once if that is all it deserves just so he can hear his song on the radio. Its a ballad I would gladly audition for anybody that can help me with this quest to get his song on the air.
