Anyone care to offer an opinion?

I've started a streaming online oldies station. It is primarily 70s based but does go a few years back into the 60s and just touches into the 80s. I've listened to many online stations and mine is not nearly as polished as several I have heard but, I mostly did it just to see if I could. (I'm not a real technically savvy guy)

Reading through the threads here, it looks like there are several people that know a lot about this format so, I'd love to hear some feedback about the music that the station is playing, particularly if you hear something that sounds really out of place or, if you listen for awhile and don't hear something that you think would really fit in. Don't worry about hurting my feelings! I have pretty thick skin and take criticism pretty well (generally) :)

There are a few files that I still need to trim a bit but, lately, time has been at a premium for me so I just haven't been able to work that in. Hopefully soon!

The station is at www.superhits760.com and it is an m3u stream. I usually listen to it in Windows Media Player and it should work ok in i-tunes. Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions.

I'm listening right now. First impressions? Whatever you're using for audio processing is decent. I've heard "Rocket Man" followed by
"Carrie Anne" followed by a record I don't recognize (but whatever it is, it's a good record) followed by "Rockin' Pneumonia And The Boogie Woogie Flu" by Johnny Rivers (which seems to either be a re-recording or a bad remastering; sounds very close to the way it should but something is "off" just enough to be noticeable).

The stream took only about 8-10 seconds or so to fully buffer using the Jetaudio player and so far, no drop outs. Your website is cleanly designed and nice looking.

You've earned a bookmark in my list of internet stations!

Definitely many lost hits here, something radio has done for many years now, is too ignore people favorites, like these.

Obviously, internet radio and small market stations are winning out. Good for you and GREAT JOB!!
