Anyone confirming just how bad Wake up with Whoopi is?

Rant 1: Oh my goodness. Whoopi's show just sucks. I mean it blows.

Rant 2: I never listened to the Doghouse, but given my sense that they were kind of infantile I am a bit perplexed by their apparently popularity here. Where they really that good?

Rant 3: At the same time, Adam Carolla is admittedly pretty infantile, but I do find it amusing. There just isn't much to choose from to listen to someone live that is not news, right wing or NPR.

Rant 4: The Radio Chick show on 106.9 Free FM is pretty good. I get the feeling that I might be the only person who ever tunes in, in the entire Bay Area but if nothing else at least it has decent production values.

Rant 5: Who do you think, if anyone will pick up John London's show now that he will be "nationally syndicated?"

Rant 6: I wonder when Darian O'Toole will resurface from Rehab. Sounds like a lot of people have had the bridge burned by her, but none the less.... one does wish her well with her health.

Rant 7: While Energy 92.7 is drawing lousy ratings -- as least it provides some variety to the dial.

i'm pretty ugly, but have had some smokin' hot girlfriends (people and friends questioned that a lot - as in "what is she doing with 'him'? or how'd he get her?). no, i ain't rich either. and the smokin' hot ex-girlfriends are still alive and most of them are still friends. sometimes personality can go much further than looks and/or money. i'm just sayin....

i haven't heard the show yet, but i'll get back on that.

Back in my 20's & 30's and even into my 40's , I've been told or referred as handsome or a cutie, but still I couldn't get [EDIT]. But if you mix bad looks and bad show together....I don't know if that will work.

Not sayin' I miss the former jackbooted moderator, but how did this thread get from Whoopi's show to how she or others look?? Not that she doesn't have the preverbial "face for radio." How does the show sound? Sucks? Really sucks? Sucks like a Hoover?

I will answer Rant #2.
"The Doghouse" with JV and Elvis was the top rated show in the Bay area for 10 years. they even beat "Stern's" numbers. So you take away the best show in the area because of what was said "off radio", bullshit. Well the hell with Wild now, because they are on "Stern's" old station in NY now. NY which happens to be the #1 market. So they went from number 4 Market to Number 1 market. Nice move I would say,

The Radio Chick was on in NY about 3 times now always getting canned. She was on XM and then moved back to freeFm. This is a show that people like or hate. She screwed over a main player at 92.3 Free Fm NY, Booker. He was well liked and was on the radio in her slot for sometime. Well he walked out the door and showed them. He is now on the Morning drive in Philly.

The Doghouse was SF and they ruled it for 10+ years. So now what do you have. Adam, nice try, Whoopi which I had an Idea, Wild which is hoping for the best with a new morning show, I forgot you got O and A tape delayed and Radio Chick. Nice try. What in the hell is wrong with the powers that be, The Doghouse Ruled SF for 10 Years and not one station can get the idea? Well they will rule NY in a short time.
