No hatred, but I hope LSU crushes OS
To get this thread at least a little on the topic of radio----I am glad to see WWL's billboard in Tiger Stadium instead of Eagle 98.1. I guess this would mean that WWL is officially the FLAGSHIP station of LSU instead of Eagle 98.1. Even if they are not, I would support LSU moving to another BR station.
Couple of other things: I assumed until about 2 weeks ago that LSU was going to be in the Sugar Bowl for the national championship, like in 03. I thought the championship still rotated between the 3 big bowls.
Hate OS. No, but I want LSU to completely crush them like they would be playing McNeese. I just don't want to say I "hate" any university.
Les Miles being a Michigan man; I'm sure is motivated to knock off O.S.
I've liked Les Miles since day one, in part because of his sportsmanship and demeanor, even if some of those big mouths in the Baton Rouge media didn't. Actually I would prefer to see a lot of Baton Rouge/New Orleans TV and radio sports guys get fired----that would include a few at Cox sports, too.
I'll tell you one more thing about Les Miles that you don't hear in the media--I'm still young, but the vast majority of the OLDER LSU fans have loved Les Miles from the start, I'm talking about the crowd over the age of 60.
I actually have worse feelings for basketball coach John Brady--it's long past time for him to be fired. The only reason they didn't do it last year was the scandal involving the women's team required an immediate replacement.
LSU just blew a 14 point lead over the Washington Huskies today at home. They are now 7-5.
