Anyone going to Eastlake?

Re: Why?

This latest asinine stunt by Alan Prell makes it 100% guaranteed that he will never be hired in the Seattle radio market again.

I think it was 100% guaranteed that he's done in Seattle well before he decided to pull this stunt.

I agree with that O-Larry

It is indeed very clever.
But to no avail IMO.

Something like that works if you've got an army of pissed off listeners who want you back on the air.

But I'm just not sure he can garner the support to make it mean anything because I'm not sure that Prell can amass even a squad (Muchless an entire army)of pissed off listeners who want him back on the air.
He's a left wing version of Maloney.

kick 'em when...

There's a nasty "kick the fired guy when he's down" mentality here. Hope he gets a crowd just to make you look stooopid.

Well, I must disagree here

In order for your assessment to be accurate, the people kicking Prell should, by definition, be former fans or people who listened to him on a daily basis.

I've never liked Prell and have only rarely listened to him to see if, over time, he may have gotten better.

He never did.
