Anyone Have Any pre-1982 KFOG Airchecks?

More for curiosity's sake than anything.

The only aircheck I can find of KFOG's Beautiful Music period is the one which was recorded by Mike Schweizer (posted in the Internet Archive) during its final hours before the flip to AAA.

It's a long shot I know, because once you hear a few minutes of one Beautiful Music station (present or former), you've heard them all (different stations had their own identities, distinctiveness wasn't really a feature of the format, so they all tend to sound the same), but I happen to be interested.

Nearly all Beautiful Music stations in major markets used either Shulke (SRP) or Bonneville for a syndicated format. A few used the FM 100 Plan, and a couple used Churchill. In medium to smaller markets, there were a number of syndicators such as KalaMusic, RPM, Peters Productions, TM Century and a couple of others. Very few did their own formats... with Jerry Lee's station in Philly being the largest exception along with WPAT in the NYC market and the EZ Communications stations.

There's a LONG recording of the last 2 hours of KFOG's Beautiful Music Format and the first 2 or so hours of the rock format. Sorry I don't have a link but it's easily found.

Ah, I have heard that one I think.

I guess anything earlier is most likely lost to time, save for any material that someone, somewhere likely recorded and which has been stored away, forgotten, for the past 43+ years.
