It was good to have him back in the morning...Dan's show is different than Tony's old one, so I missed the "fun & frivolity"
Hope those rumors are true that Bruno is coming back!

Patrick's done ok with the deal.
Maybe lightning will strike twice.
I had the exact same thought.
I could easily see a schedule of either (all times eastern):
* Dan Patrick (9-12 AM), followed by Tony Bruno (12 - 3 PM); or
* Tony Bruno (6-9 AM), followed by Dan Patrick (9-12 AM)

I think he's done. The networks want low-paid guys who aren't good enough to command big money in local markets where talent actually drives ratings and makes 7 figures in those select cities where sports has traction and can be sold to legit sponsors for big revenue. You could take EVER LA on-air person and combine all of their salaries and it wouldn't equal what Mike North was making in Chicago to do a local show or guys like Angelo Cataldi in Philly or Mike and The Mad-dog in NYC. 570am runs 12 straight hours of syndicated programming from Midnight till Noon! And that's the LA station that has some ratings, USC and the Lakers.
