Anyone heard Tanya's fill-in on Lite?

Stella Mars who has spent years in the Boston market on stations like Star and the old classic rock Eagle is filling in for Tanya on Lite this week. It was posted a few weeks back that Jack Lawrence is weekending there. Looks like Citadel is getting some ex-full time Boston talent.

She fills in for Kim Zandy on Gio & Kim sometimes too ...I think she still keeps in touch with Gio and Tony Bristol, hence fill in work for Citadel-EP.

I don't think WROR (or any of Greater Media's station in Boston) are voicetracked at any time.

Last I knew, at least as of two years ago, they had a board op on duty at 5:30am, when I'd call in their weekend ski report.

Stella on WROR

Stella has the afternoon shift today (Saturday) on WROR. She came on at 2 and, I'm sure, will go right until 7 when Mighty Mike comes in with his 70s show. Which I guess should be a seemless transition programming-wise as this is a "Nothing But the 70s" weekend on WROR.

While Stella isn't a "new" voice around Boston, there are new voices (including Stella's) popping up on WROR lately since the unfortunate passing of weekend warrior Victor K a couple months back.

With afternoon guy Paul Perry filling in for Loren and Wally's vacation this week (and, apparently, this coming week as well), I heard some guy named JC Hayes (I'm guessing that's the spelling) on Paul's afternoon shift a couple times this week.

And speaking of Paul taking the morning shift, that, in itself, is kinda different. Usually, they would have traffic guy Hank Morse filling in and playing some "Best of Loren and Wally" bits. Hank is there but doing the traffic as usual and interacting with Paul and the intern while Paul pretty much brings his entire afternoon show bits to the morning. I found myself listening to Uncle Dale this week instead. :-\

No Mighty Mike tonite.....Stella just mentioned (at 640pm) that Kristin Lessard is coming up next. The Mighty One gets a week off I guess. Apparently a 70s music show does NOT jive with all-weekend 70s music. ::)

A few updates. The spelling is actually JC HAZE. He is originally from WZFM in Westchester County, N.Y. F.Y.I. except for a different set of call letters, it was the same station that Howard Stern got his start at.

The past few times that Loren & Wally have been on vacation they have brought in somebody else other than Hank Morse to fill in. Hank is Greater Media's traffic guy and maybe they did not want to upset the flow of all their other morning shows by bringing in somebody else to do the traffic on the other stations. This way only WROR's flow is interupted when Loren & Wally take a break.

You know, Now you killed my Sunday Night. I I was biteing my finger nails and waiting to hear if Paul McCartney was in the #1 spot.

The last time something this happened was when someone told me the ending to the movie "Titanic" with Leonardo DeCaprio.
