anyone in ABQ own an HD Radio??

The short answer - a few people who work for Clear Channel, and a smattering of others who accidently acquired a new car with the HD radio. Otherwise, HD has no observable effect in Albuquerque and New Mexico. Clear Channel has made it nearly impossible to locate their online streams of the HD stations - I tried to find them, and became mired in a Clear Channel website that was nothing but obfuscation. The technology is bad at its core for FM, and a complete failure on AM. That + weak economy = failure of HD overall.

In Atlanta A guy who use to Be PD at Kool In Albuquerque Now programs for Cumulus and Their HD Station Shows Up in The Atlanta Book.......SO Somebody can actually Make it work

Yes, it's really an HD-2 channel that shows up in the Atlanta book. However, it's most likely the result of the analog FM translator that rebroadcasts the channel. The FCC has, at least for now, determined that a translator can rebroadcast the digital signal of any station so long as it meets the existing relay requirements.

Put the HD-2 audio on an analog translator. Gee, I hadn't thought of that one. Good idea! Like a whole 'nother radio station. Now there is a valid reason to run HD - for the cost of the equipment, license, and translator, you get another analog station that people can actually hear. Probably a total of $1/4 million in Atlanta, not a bad entry price for that market. Also a good way to circumvent the ownership rules.
