Anyone know what happened to Eric Scott at WKBK?

I was in Keene a few weeks ago and flipped on WKBK he wasn't there. A call to the station confirmed he no longer worked there. Anyone know the story?

The way I heard it, Dan MItchell at KBK decided Howie Carr was better (read: cheaper) than a live host. Too bad, I really liked his show.

Wasnt Eric also on WKNE? There probably is more to the story then just....'lets get rid of Eric so we can have Howie'....the decision wasnt just on WKBK's PD.

Yes, he was, but if I had to guess...after Dan Mitchell brought Howie back to KBK, Saga couldn't justify his salary for just KNE. It's a shame...I thought Saga was all about being local whenever possible. A recent Keene Sentinel letter to the editor took KBK to task for getting rid of Eric and having (in the writers' view) too many conservative hosts (Beck, Rush, O'Reilly).
Moving WSNI's xmtr from Fitzwilliam to the WINQ site in Winchester (and the COL to Swanzey) probably cost a ton...they had to cut expenses somewhere...the irony is WSNI is satellite 24/7-not even local weather on it.
