Anyone know what Pete Davis has been up to?

The afternoons just aren't the same to me anymore. I loved the Pete Davis Sports segments at 5:10 during the Kimmershow. If I was going to miss a segment I would try and have someone else record it for me on cassette tape.

Now Pete is gone. And in a couple months when it is autumn and football season, weekday afternoons just won't be the same anymore.

I even find myself rarely listening to the Kimmer anymore. Without Pete, Wayne, or even Jim, the show is just a walking corpse compared to what it used to be.

So my question is this: Does anyone know what Pete Davis has been up to since he was fired? Has he moved to another city? Is he still in radio?

Thanks guys.

I heard he is living in a van down by the river but the cource is unreliable. D'oh!!

Wow, real helpful and constructive.

Oh sorry did not realize Pete Davis' whereabouts was a matter of life or death. I apologize for the inconvenince I thought people were D'oh deficient since he left the airwaves. His originality will be sorely missed. How he did not single-handedly turn around that sinking ship with his witty soundbites is beyond me. Sincerely, Homer J. Simpson

I liked Pete Davis and enjoyed his sports on GST/96Rock as well as the occasional fill-in for Kimmer. I think GST was crazy to let him go.

I always kinda liked the Pete and Wayne show....Pete by himself could be a train wreck, like the time he called the WSB guys 'classless', Wayne on his own was brutal, but together, they could almost be entertaining. Certainly better then Denny Scheaffer!

Last I heard he and Wayne were looking at trying to get a gig together, and selling aluminum siding.....

I heard Pete was working in a grocery store stocking frozen foods. I think he is being considered for the night manager job.

Pete Davis? Is he out already? I didn't think he was eligible for parole just yet.

Seriously, he deserved to be let go long ago. Someone mentioned his "classless bastards" comments about WSB. That was typical Pete. Rather than thinking about what he was saying, or actually finding out the truth about something, he just fired away. And was wrong.

What he did that day was an embarrassment to WGST (if such a thing is possible) and was disrespectful to Keith Kalland and those of us who were mourning his loss.

You may miss Pete on the air. I, for one, don't.
