Anyone know what would cause this strange reception?
From Meriden Avenue (State Route 120) in Southington, Connecticut you can see Meriden Mountain and the FM towers up there. There are two translators that have their antennas on the tower of their full powered FM station WMRQ. One translator is on 96.1 FM, is 210 watts, and runs Oldies Music simulcasting WNTY 990. The other translator is on 98.5 FM, is 250 watts, and runs Spanish CHR Music simulcasting WMRQ HD2.
So I was on Savage Street in Southington this morning, which is off of Meriden Avenue. I was picking up both translators - 96.1 and 98.5 at the same time on 100.9 FM. What caused this?
