anyone know whats going on with KLTR

Hey guys whats up i was just wondering if KLTR ever upgraded the station from a C2 to a C3, the reason i ask is because Radio-Locator says that their construction permit expired on August 18,2007, i havent heard them lately and was just wondering if anybody knew anything Thanks in Advance

No, not yet, and BTW it's the other way around; they're licensed as a class C3 with plans to upgrade to a C2. I wouldn't depend on Radio-Locator for updates on it, though. The FCC database shows that KLTR's construction permit was recently canceled per applicant's request and replaced with another application, although no reason is listed. It still calls for a new tower roughly halfway between Brenham and College Station.
