Anyone know what's up with Dan Yorke?

Is it me or does Yorke seem really off the wall and off his game lately?
He started off his show first thing Monday by going on some weird rant about wanting the new Supreme court nominee to declare her sexual orientation. He wasn't interested in her politics or how she might rule on particular cases.
No, because she's never been married Yorke was interested in knowing her sexual orientation. He went on and on about this for an hour.
And he's been going down hill ever since.
Today he spent 3 hours badgering the governor over the tax free holiday propsal for Thanksgiving weekend. This topic caught such fire with his audience Yorke probably took a grand total of 7 phonecalls in 3 hours, if that many.
What is going on with this guy?
It seems that we're getting weird personal agenda radio from Yorke lately.
I'm starting to like the idea of Matty Allen in the afternoon more and more.
With Allen you get honest views. Yorke seems to bring his personal baggage with him on-air lately.
Yorke is becomming very tedious to listen to.
 
I think he has a lot of personal issues and he is using his show as an outlet for his frustrations. I think the whole Depetro fiasco got him started. Now he's on some sort of a mission.

Got to agree with both of you.
Dan has been pretty odd, very odd lately. The Depetro thing really seems to have gotten to him. Depetro is in Yorkes head and he ain`t leaving.
It must be ripping Dan apart inside. People STILL talk about it. I wonder if Yorke can regain some kind of control???
 
Is Kass in his head??

Yorke mouthed off about Kass on his show when it was announced that
he (Kass) was leaving the station to go and work for the governor.
It's obvious there was a level of personal animosity between Yorke and Kass.
How much of Yorke's badgering of the governor was linked to Kass now working for him?
Is there a pattern developing here with Yorke??
He's got issues with Laffey because DePetro works for him.
Maybe the same is true with Kass and the governor??

Yorke's integrity is becomming an issue.

It's fake yelling... at that! He'll be screaming at the top of his lungs one second. Then literally a second later he's talking as calm as a priest at Sunday Morning Mass. Nobody can just switch emotions so quickly. It's PHONY. I hate Phony Radio.

"manic"

Chatty, "manic" is the best word I've seen to describe Yorke.
It's so true and accurate, the man runs so hot and cold it's hard
to keep up with his mood swings but what's interesting is he's "manic"
when it comes to certain people. Others go unscathed.
Guess he's a hypocrite also.
Yorke may be all set with PRO management but in my opinion he's lost
much credibility in the greater RI listening area over the past few months.
