Anyone Know Where Ed Tyll Is?

I worked with him here in Orlando, Florida, in 1995, when I moved down from Long Island. And just as soon as I found him on the air up there, he disappeared.

Anyone?

Nice find. I've done quite a few searches for Ed, but none recently. His re-invention as Edward Tyll was a good one and Ed has always made pretty good use of the web in his promotion efforts. Now that I know where he is and what he's doing, I certainly plan to go see him.

Hey All, MG here. I am no longer at Business Talk Radio/WLIE after 4 1/2 years. Its a Long Story. I am starting a new job next week. I am still going to sell brokered time at night for WLIE as I have been.

Congrats on the new job MG. Is Amanda still at BTR?

The fact that "squawk radio" no longer has a place for guys like Tyll, does not bode well for the industry. Let's hope that changes before the damage is irreparable...

Jim, I wouldn't assume that radio has no place for Ed Tyll. It may very well be the he made this decision. With his talent and background, I'm sure he could have found a radio home. Perhaps he just didn't want to...

I would imagine his experience at WLIE may have something to do with that decision.

Ed Tyll decided to stay off radio for the time being. He is focusing on his stand up comedy routine and performs in NY. He is also still doing voice overs.
