Anyone listening to HD here?

Some people want to know. What is it like? Hate/like? Etc.

Yep, I'm a listener.Audio quality is great. Nice to be rid of FM multipath and pre-emphasis garbage. Some of the HD2's are worth a listen. KUOW's 3 streams are cool. The BBC channel is always interesting. KING-FM is a whole new experience with real bandwidth and dynamic range.Be sure to check out KRWM'FM's HD2 cast of KIXI...Back in the day they used to know how to record REAL stereo rather than today's recordings that are processed to death and Mpeg edited on a PC. Those old tunes really pop on HD!Could be worth it now that the Boston Acoustics radio has dropped to $300...(bet it will come down again before X-mas!). If I was buying a car I'd insist on an HD radio...stupid not to have one now. It's for real...this is not quad FM or the AM stereo disaster.

VERY good Radio World Article

Thanks Rob - that page is informative and worth a 'save' to the files....

Car Toys has HD car tuners at most all of their Seattle/Tacoma locations. If you dont mind buying online go to Crutchfield and check out their selections.
