And if you are,, which version are you playing,, the original was just to Monotonous and didnt have much of a Catchiness to it,, we are playing the Dance Version,,, same as Z-1035 Toronto and the UK stations... Its really doing good on phones,,, people calling in singing it and wanting to hear it,, if you havent added it,, then do so soon,, Whether your Rhythmic Leaning,, Rock or Adult Leaning,,, or just fairly balanced like us, give it a try...
 
This record is HOTTTTTT.... Quit being conservative and just adding what the books or consultants say to add.... I may not have the most powerful signal, the hottest imaging, or the top talent Jocks, and I me have to play some Hot C during the work day,, Like Rob Thomas,,, but at least I play stuff that you guys are scaired of..
 
It almost made the cut for me this week. Came down to Flo Rida RIGHT ROUND and Kid. Flo got the call, already getting reaction on it without spins. I have no doubt Kid will make it in next week. Good song...potential.
 
Yup. Crookers mix. Sounds fresh in the mix. Stands out in a good way.
 
Yes... Make sure to play the Crookers mix.... The Original is just boring..... Its pretty good when my little small town CHR is breaking new hits like this, when big cities like Atlanta and LAs KIIS wont touch it..... I bet Power 106 LA is on it though.... This is a Hit at CHR and Rhythmic... and Dance as well... I just hope the Dance stations dont feel the need to over remix an already Dance Friendly song.... the original is fine and has already done Huge in the UK and Canada...

Look at mediabase, at least 75% of the stations spinning this record are rhythmic or urban formats. I don't think you're playing anything that top 40 programmers are "scared of"- you're playing stuff that is outside their playlist
 
I bet most of them are not playing the Crookers remix,,,, Why can Canadian and UK CHR stations play it, but not us???? Ive added other stuff outside the normal US playlist before that has worked out great.

Both WAKS/Cleveland and WHYI/Miami are giving this 25-30 spins a week.
 
Perfect tune just in time for spring break...same with Asher Roth's "I Love College".
I also see the Plain White-T's "1,2,3,4" is RE-charting again.
 
Songs killer..this is the type of hip-hop radio/ppl need. I still love popping bottles w/models but some real emotion always gets thru on another level...
