He was a westcoast rapper from Inglewood, California born in 1981 and had heavy airplay on L.A.'s popular hip hop(was billed as R&B at the time) station Power 106. He came out with his debut single "Where I Wanna Be" Featuring Nate Dogg & Kurupt in 2001 which was later included on his debut album "Informal Introduction" which was released in September 2002 and it spawned the singles Money Owners featuring Timbaland, Wake Up Featuring Nate Dogg and Where I Wanna Be. On Monday May 6, 2002 Shade Sheist Money Owners was launched by Power 106. On Tuesday October 15, 2002 decided to tell listeners it's business ties with Shade Sheist because his album was produced by then KPWR artist relations executive/assistant PD Damion Young better known as Damizza. According to Power 106 PD Jimmy Steal Shade Sheist's Money Owners rated high in listener's taste as did Wake Up.
