Anyone remember "The Ugly DJ" - 98 YCR? -

I remember him - 98.5 WYCR, mid to late 80's, evening shift, probably 8-midnight, something like that. Typical top 40/pop format at that time. Never knew who he was, but grew up listening to him. Anyone have any idea, who he was, where is he now?

'Never met the guy.. But NOBODY... could work phones like that guy.. His "Bed check" was great radio. It was impossible to turn it off. The guy had talent for days.

"Ugly" was a very inventive, talented air personality. I don't know what he's doing now, but after he got let go from Q-106 when it became the Edge, he worked as a dispatcher for York County 911. I have a scanner and used to hear him. He may still be there for all I know.

I remember that! I had heard that somewhere before. While that is a good thing, a guy with talent & a voice like his needs to be in radio. I could think of a few that I would like to replace with him! ;D
