Anyone Remember These Songs?

Does anybody remember these lost classics from approxomitely 1965?

1. "Over Suzanne" Tommy Bruce

2. "I Just Don't Understand" Tommy Adderley and Group

3."She's Lost You" The Zepherys

4. "Roses are Red My Love" The Savages (Not the same song by Bobby Vinton)

5. "Walking the Dog" The Trophies

6. "Look Homeward Angel" The Monarchs

#6 has been in my library since having the original copy on 45 in the 60's.

Unfortunately the best copy of this song is not well produced.

Don't know about the rest of these, but Look Homeward Angel was a hit in early 1964, or at least it was in Cincinnati. I think the Monarchs were a Louisville group.

I remember a version of #4 by "You Know Who Group". I definitely remember #6 as well. #5 was by a group from my local area in Central New England. They also recorded a version of Eddie Cochran's "Something Else". Both of their songs got much airplay on WTSA Radio, which was then being operated very nicely by Burt Sherwood, who had been "The Night Watchman" on WMCA in the late fifties and early sixties. Another area group, the Busters, had a song on the charts that was played by Dick Biondi and became very popular on WLS.

Look homeward Angel ....killer song....I am still looking for a cleaner version, if it even exists..The fortunes I believe released it first in 1963..then the Monarchs in 1964.
