Who's going to record the format change? I don't get a good signal where I am now.

Past caring. For years.

If they do go Virgin, and they do the same intro Toronto Ontario did, it'll be a good keeper for sure!
Toronto's flip was interesting!
Notice how they refer to their *main* competition as "old" (104.5 CHUM FM)

Listen to the flip here: http://www.virginradio999.com/media/777982/Virgin+Radio

Don't forget to call the Inquirer/Daily News and other media outlets, as well as update the Wikipedia page. This needs to be done NOW!!!!

I always find it amusing how someone who is "Past caring. For years." is posting on a radio message board. I don't know about you, but if I didn't care, I wouldn't be anywhere near this board. I would be on a board that focused on something I was interested in.

ROB! I am NOW officially counting on you to drop major hints on what the next big format change will be in Philly.

1) I'll say one of the AMers

2) The move will come unpredicted and out of the realm of normal rational thought

3) The new format will be niche in nature, i.e. not mass appeal

4) Much like the previous format, it will fail to generate enough listenership due to a lousy dial position/signal

It's like tormenting addicts or drunks when you do neither. Call it a negative intervention.

And as I thought, it is inconsequential: some boring light rock station now resides on the frequency. Not worthy of one kb, IMHO.

What were you all anticipating anyway?

I like you guys-really-but the thing is dead.
