Anyone serving up crow at Q101?

So Q101 has hired a PD from Phoenix? Isn't that where the Market Manager was before running WKQX into the ground over the last four years, meanwhile firing two PDs and hiring a "Brand Manager" to replace them while driving ratings and revenue to new lows? Anybody else apply?

I'm not shocked that another horrible empty suit experiment of letting sales run over programming has failed miserably and now their back to having a music intensive morning show, a PD and no wasted Bob Barker marketing dollars left.

My Q101 predictions for 2008:

  • The Brand Manager will soon be released to "pursue other options."
  • The Market Manager will soon be released with a "thanks for his efforts on behalf of Emmis."
  • The current $2.64 Emmis stocks will soon be worthless.
  • Jeff "Smiley" Smulyan will be selected as GM of a losing baseball team.

Any other predictions?
