Hello-
I'm new here, I've been in radio almost 10 years now.
I'm working now for a small locally-operated station (way better than a particular conglomerate I'm familiar with), and I've been scheduling the music for a few months now. *edit, it's classic hits
I know MusicGen has been replaced many times but it's what was available and I like that it mirrors many features from NexGen. Anyone here still using it or have spent some quality time using it in the past?
I've gotten it to work fairly reliably but I wonder how others organized their categories, what rules they used, how you avoided irritating rotation problems (like songs coming up a week later in the same places), etc.
I have read the manual (mostly) and it's sometimes contradictory of itself. Any advice you have is great!
