Anyone think South 107 will REALLY make an impact in Atlanta?

I wonder who will be the buyer for this new CP. Someone mentioned Lincoln.....they might be a candidate if the price were reasonable.
Ms. Stone may be willing to wait for an improvement in station values before selling. I would guess they have very little debt and can afford to wait out the market.

taylor, do you remember when the LMA contract for all of the Women's World stations is up again? That might be the time frame to look towards.

Barry, what are the other Women's World stations? (That's Paul Stone's wife.) The word is Stone really wanted to sell South 107 to Cox when they purchased the Athens cluster.

I didn't know they were LMA'ed! I thought the Stones were operating 107.1 along with the Black Crowe stations he bought a while back. I think all the N.E. Ga stations have been sold to Cox.
LMA or not, if the right person writes the correct price on a check that puppy is gone is my guess.

Rome Radio Partners (Howard Toole) LMA's South 107.

Checking my scorecard, didn't the Rome Southern Broadcasting management (Rome Radio Partners?) buy (management buyout) most of the Southern Rome cluster stations around the time Cox bought the Southern Athens cluster stations? I want to say they LMAed WTSH and one of the Rome stations (maybe the FM?) that was retained by Southern as part of the deal.

After a quick check on Radio-Locator, jabba17 is correct. WTSH / WQTU / WRGA / WSRM / WGJK are mostly owned by corporations with Rome Radio in the name with the exception of WTSH which is still owned by Women's World and is LMAd. I think taylorengineering is probably right... if someone comes along with the correct number of zeros on a check, that LMA would go away.
