Anyone tried Airomate for RDS?

Has anyone tried using Airomate strictly for RDS injection? If so, how has it worked? We're considering junking our Inovonics RDS units and using computers to encode our RDS signals. It's cheap enough to give it a shot. 29 euros for the software, a 1.2gig computer and 192khz soundcard.

It has to work with Google pass-through for now-playing song data. Thanks.

Yes, it works rather well - We've used it on a number of projects and had no real issues providing nobody turns it off! Remember that if you pass your audio through it for MPX as well as RDS, the buffer is around 500mS so no way can you monitor off-air in your cans. We've also used it to pick-up a TXT file from various playout apps so the RT displays the current "Arist - Title" which is fairly neat. It's only let-down is that as we regularly run specialist shows, we'd like a "schedulable" way to change the PTY from POP M to ROCK M or NEWS (for example) - aside from that it's a nice cheap bit of kit.

The pira.cz stuff is also worth a look.
