Howard paid for his time at WBAP, and sold ads for his show plus the WBAP SAE's sold spots on his show. His biggest complaint ( Like Bill Mack's was)they over sold the show. His show on saturdays was lucky to have 22 minutes without the ads. He is a very nice guy and I wish him well. He was NEVER an employee of WBAP. His call screeners were part of his "ground crew".
