Where do you think Howard Garrett will end up? Personally I think that Biz Radio would be perfect for him. He could immediately go on in Houston and probably expand rather quickly. Does anyone know if he paid for his airtime, or did WBAP pay him? I know that Neil buys his time over on KRLD because they used to run that at the beginning of his show.

He paid for his time on WBAP just like Dave Brennan does.

Were I in Garrett's shoes, I'd look to get on KSKY or Salem's network.

Dave Brennan pays for his time but Howard was an employee of WBAP.
Looking at the weekend line-ups at KLIF, KSKY & KAAM, I don't see an obvious slot he could take.

Howard paid for his time at WBAP, and sold ads for his show plus the WBAP SAE's sold spots on his show. His biggest complaint ( Like Bill Mack's was)they over sold the show. His show on saturdays was lucky to have 22 minutes without the ads. He is a very nice guy and I wish him well. He was NEVER an employee of WBAP. His call screeners were part of his "ground crew".

Howard did not pay for the time at WBAP.

Howard starts this Sunday on Salem's KSKY from 8-11a.
