Ah, YES, Mogul...I would consider it a treat to meet you...Just please let us know when you are coming...I am transferring the station to my son as of 2008, but will remain as the engineer and chief flunky as long as I can...We can provide vittles a little above the CB when you come...The "Pig and Whistle" is still on our oldies FM...we get lots of positive response on it...as you probably know, we are at 1040 Hwy 6, West, Batesville. For your convenience, I include the telephone number of the station, 662-563-4664. Just ask my son, John, to buzz you thru to the "mad laboratory" behind the station. I am also known for frequent sabbaticals
to South Louisiana, some advance notice is advisable. Thanks (W) JBI

Well Mr. Ingram.... despite my strict Baptist upbringing I am known to make a Tunica run after loading up on Rendezvous on an occasional weekend or two... Next time we are headed that way I am there! I will call ahead of time.

I enjoy Alex Ward.... I don't get to listen to him because I am not in East Arkansas enough, and I refuse to hook up the XM I was given for Christmas. But I hope you can keep him on over there for a long time to come.

Gregdymon:

Sorry for getting back with you so late. I have been on vacation for a week up in Missouri and then to California for a week out at network headquarters. To answer your question, I can't see Air 1 in Greenville. However, those choices are made in California. Air 1 does not generate near the support that K-LOVE does. It's needed but the economics of the matter have to be considered. We usually put Air 1's as the second signal in a market when another signal is available. There are a few exceptions if the demographics fit. To date I only have one Air 1 in Mississippi and 6 K-LOVE's. I would love to have another signal in HAttiesburg. I think an Air 1 would go over great with USM there. If you know of anything at a GOOD price let me know.
