ANYTHING HAPPENING IN THE NORTHBAY?

Just wondering if anything is going on north of the Bridge...

Besides the fact that KZST will be #1 again, Q105 is the only country station worth listening to and Hot 98.7 is the ONLY mainstream top-40 station for hundreds of miles...what's going on up there?

I thought I heard a rumor that there might be some stations for sale?<P ID="signature">______________

i know KVON will be streaming local content next year, from what i've heard. and yes, we still air imus :)

what's up with that rock station? the fox? it sounds HORRIBLE. i used to listen but cannot any longer.

would somebody please:
1. put on a good alternative station (live 105 comes in LOUSY up here)
2. give Hot 98.7 some more power so that i can hear them all over sonoma county
3. put on a good ROCK station that's focused

and...is there any place to hear good dance music over the air? i can get energy 92.7 on my computer, that's fine. but when i'm driving or riding or working out - nowhere on the radio is there any dance music. i don't do satellite either. not in the budget.

i would go on, but i am sure others have something to say.

I Wish they would give us more power too :) But hey Hot 98.7 plays house on Wednesday Afternoons at 5pm... and the occasional Dance Song:) By the way I agree... we need a GREAT ALTERNATIVE UP HERE!<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by Radioape99 on 12/20/05 09:38 PM.</FONT></P>

woohoo - 30 minutes of house on a wednesday afternoon. i guess it's a start...along with that occasional dance song. (and yes, i saw the website with the club 987 on saturday nights.)

has anybody applied to put any LPFMs on up here? haven't had a chance to look that up...maybe that's a way to get a good alternative station in the north bay. there's at least 2 listeners for it....or is the terrain not conducive to putting any LPFMs in the north bay/sonoma county?
