"Apologize"

There are two versions of this song: the Timbaland-remixed version, and OneRepublic's original cut of the song. We changed to the OneRepublic original version yesterday. What version is your station playing? How is that version (whichever it may be) doing/testing so far?

Thanks

We're playing the Timbaland version... mainly because that's the only version offered by the Music services we use. I've heard the original version. It's good too. I think I'll stick with the Timbaland version though. A.) It's the popular version and B.) The competition is playing that version too.

The song took off for us in an instant. Pretty much a straight shot into A

GREAT SONG!! I added the Timbaland version before I even realized there was a version sans him. He's hot! Everything the man touches is gold. Just look at "The Way I Are" Even though the title sounds like something spoken by a person in Northern Maine(or the deep south) it is a BIG hit.

My favorite pop song last year but One Republic's CD is HORRIBLE! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Most the other songs on there are crappy sounding and depressing! :(

Agreed. I played the OneRepublic version of "Apologize" for about 3 weeks before reverting to the Timbaland remix. They're ripping off Linkin Park too much, IMO.

I think that the Timblansd version of is the one that most identify...for a station that leans a little more alternative(Mix in Vegas) the original works well.

Yeah, they sound a bit like Linkin Park, but that sound is working well right now...

Any thoughts on their new single?
