Application For WVOX AM Translator to Move to NY Dismissed by FCC

The owner of W276BV, a 3 watt translator in Greenwich CT had asked the FCC for permission to move it to New Rochelle NY, raise its power to 25 watts, and use it to rebroadcast WVOX 1460 AM on 103.1 FM
The application was opposed by Bridgelight, which operates translator W276AQ, in Fort Lee NJ. It relays their religious station The Bridge. It is interesting that Bridgelight was able to submit to the FCC over 30 letters from listeners to W276AQ indicating concern they would receive interference from W276BV.
There is a new application with the FCC from W276BV to allow the move, but maintain its power at only 3 watts.
