April 2015 ratings.

http://ratings.****************/cgi-bin/rol.exe/arb013

WROR stays at #1.

WEEI FM just squeezes past WBZ FM.

WBQT gets a nice lift. WODS also got a nice little bump.
WXKS stayed stable.

WAAF has done well for the second month in a row. Good for them.

WERS takes a dip.

WUMB.
Down where it always is.

Even WXRV has seen a bump...

Must be the heavy mix of New Wave to fill a void left by WFNX...

AAF, EEI indeed doing well and RKO getting better with Howie back. They have to hope Sox dreadful start doesn't lead to lack of interest. As weather (and team, we hope) heats up, so can their ratings.

Hot 96.9 doing good, they sound really good. As for Amp would be nice to see them make a good jump. But with Kiss Jam'n Hot its going to be hard. I'd say put WODS HD 2 on the HD 1 and become soft ac.

I live in the Hartford/New Britain/Middletown market, so bear with me: Where are the ratings for 92.9 FM of Brookline/Boston? Do they release their numbers? They kinda sound like WMRQ-FM 104.1 (Modern rock/alternative), but jockless.

If you are asking why Boston's 92.9 do not appear in the Hartford book, there could be two reasons:

1. The station did not meet the minimum ratings requirements for the Hartford market.
2. The station is not subscribed for the Hartford market, so the numbers are not published.

Not really with Bruins out of the playoffs and Celtics four and done vs. the Cavs. Sox' first month, as mediocre as it was, pretty much had the sports spotlight to itself. (Oops, I forgot ... How about those red hot Revs! ;) )

I don't know. When did the ratings period end? April 25th or so? The Celts and Bruins were fighting for playoff spots and the former played the first round during April. The Bruins fired Chiarelli and the Pats are always relevant. I cannot remember the last time WEEI came out on top, regardless of the sports season. Even not knowing the particulars, it seems like something important.

I'll guess the loss of Gresh has something to do with it.

You guys in Boston can have him back. His new show on WTIC 1080 in Hartford with "Joe D" is awful. Two local sports shows on 3PM-7PM in Hartford and neither one are good. The other being The Rob Dibble Show on I-Heart's 97.9 ESPN. (I-Heart's mistake was not renewing Michael Bower's contract).

Just wait. His show on 98.5 was beating WEEI easily and he got fired. He supposedly didn't get along well with the staff and he didn't get along with Mad Dog when he was working for him.

And, if you're asking where they are in the Boston book, take a closer look, they're #12.

Yes, it seems every month there is some "reason" why either station was up or down. I'll guess the loss of Gresh has something to do with it.
Maybe the temporary loss of the useless one who rather talk politics and golf rather than Patriots football is a factor.

Maybe having a stable afternoon show instead of the troll fest WBZ FM has is a factor.

WGBH appears to be succeeding in its approach, probably thanks to Braude and Egan. Since January, they've gone from 2.9 to 3.1, while WBUR has gone from 4.5 to 2.4. Fairly precipitous decline.
