April Fool's Day Comes Early For Channel 11

Someone mentioned that he out to follow Peyton Manning, who doesn't want to play in the NFC (allegedly). Really, what does Hines have left to prove? I know some haters may not want him in the Hall of Fame, but that seems crazy to me. His presence makes the rest of the receivers better.

Hines and Peyton have both made more $$$ and have had more fame and acclaim than 99.99999% of the people who have ever walked or will ever walk on this planet. They participate in a sport which typically (unless you're a placekicker) has QUITE short careers - this isn't baseball. They both are articulate men who any media outlet would LOVE to employ. For the love of all that's holy - RETIRE!!!!!

and lest we forget how Pat Finn + Chromakey nearly got their pants sued off by Woody Allen.

@Greg: Peyton's brother Eli - you may have heard of him if you saw the Super Bowl the last five years ::) - plays in the NFC East; the Redskins, which are in the same division as the Giants, was a possibility, but they're going in another direction. Plus, he's blown off workout requests from Seattle - and NFC team that used to be in the AFC not too long ago. He did go to Arizona over the weekend, though, but they're a longshot, at this point. And besides, why not stay in the same conference you've played in for 14 years?

[This has been your Radio-Info sports break. ;D ]
