April Fool's Day Jokes At Radio Stations?

I've only got a few days before that famous day, and I'm doing some research, so I thought I'd ask: does anyone remember, or have been involved in any April Fool's Day jokes at a radio station?

Charlie Okle told me that two main stations in Pine Bluff, KCLA and KPBA switched announce staffs in 1960...really had the phones going!

In 1987, Zoo 98's Uglee Jerry and his wife swapped with KSSN's Bob Robbins. I don't remember much about it except that we had to keep telling Bob how to pronounce the artist's names. He was pretty game for it, though.
 
I remember the Uglees and Bob switching. If memory serves, Uglee Jerry said he was Bob Robbins, and his wife said, "and I'm Mrs. Bob." Of course, we get the annual memo from legal counsel at corporate about stunting - kinda takes some of the fun out of it!

2 stations in Valdosta, Ga switched morning shows 1 was a hot ac station 1 was a rock station. The rock guys were like "I know none of this music!!!" it was pretty funny

i could change places with The Colonel.....

"It's 10:35 and catfish john's will be opening in 25 minutes. we'd like to invite you to stop by for arkansas farm raised catfish. you can try the colonel's choice...it's two pieces of filleted catfish...hushpuppies...coleslaw...and pinto beans. thats catfish johns. in about 10 minutes we're going to replay a 3 hour interview we did this morning with dist. 3 rep. steve womack....steve had some exciting news to report...as he was seen walking past the camera on the house floor. seems the former rogers mayor has hit the big tiime."

No, but maybe the "Dial-A-Trade" callers could call "Swap Shop," and vice-versa.

No, wait, that's pretty much what happens anyway.
 
Engineer Dave Montgomery, who worked with Felix McDonald, said he though the best April Fool's Joke wasn't actually on this day...it was on Labor Day weekend when KTHV changed call letters to KAAY and played the "Baby Elephant Walk" all during the time they read the Little Rock phone book...it kept everyone guessing!

A LOOOOng time ago WIOT in Toledo recorded their breaks on reel & played them backwards. All day.
