CC Richmond announces the sale of WRVA to the Republican National Comittee. With that you say goodbye to all the non political talk and also to Savage who was shown not to support fully President Bush. Also gone are George Norrey and Art Bell, as there will be a Coast to Coast with Ann Coulter LOL.
WRVQ fires the Q zoo along with the rest of their airstaff in another Q94 is dead promo, they will be back in 2 weeks playing the same crap they are now, just with different airstaff.
Cox has thrown in the towel in the alt rock war as Y101 changes it's format to eazy listening in the wake of WMXB going to a HotAC/Modern Rock blend. Cox still plays it's game of morning show craps with the B, as the morning show goes away in favor of a new duo to be named. All Cox suits will say is that Bender and David Lee Roth are NOT going to be on WMXB.
Mainline adds airstaff to WWLB, bringing back a much loved duo to mornings as Jeff and Jeff come back to the airwaves. Beck turns over the wolf to Tara Hunter as Mckee and him get back together. Ratings go into the top 5 and John Boy and Billy cry foul as they are sent packing from Richmond for the time being, until WRNL picks them up out of desparation to get a morning show that is not based for the late night people in LA.
In a shocker, Radio One turns long time Urban outlet WCDX into a Jazz station. Russ Parr jumps out of a window as he loses a station, seeing that a 40+ year old man playing Jay-Z and 50 Cent is not exactly what he needed to do to win over the young people. He uses his other markets to go after Star and Buc Wild, who slay him with little or no effort.
Again, none of this happened folks, just a joke....
