April Fool's Day

If you did not see the header that Lance posted... please, no April Fool's prank posts.

If you hear a station doing something on April Fool's Day, post it in the appropriate market or state board. But don't create new pranks. We will delete them.

Most stations don't even do April Fool's pranks anymore. A faux format change is about as daring as it gets now. And you can only pull that once a decade at best on the same station.

Besides, April Fool's Day has nothing on the average day to day of this crazy-arse world we deal with all year long.....

I remember in the 80s or early 90s a R&B station went to classic rock for a day. Remember many were shocked until the station announce it was an April's Fool and would play the rock till 7pm. I do remember they had a better mix then the average rocker.
