A great book for HOT 105 and AMOR.....WLYF continues its fall and WFEZ is now tied with LYF.I remember when EASY changed formats..a lot of people thought it would fail..but with there tweeking the format it looks like it is a success. Magic continues its downward trend and they are a shadow of what they use to be. In my opinion Scott Shannons True Oldies Channel on WAFC is a much better oldies station.And WINZ is a waste of 50,000 watts....All news would be better.

Cheap Channel did have an Urban few years ago 1035- The Beat, WMIB. it failed miserably and couldnt compete with EDR HQT and POW and WPYM the former party 931 FM. before 1035 the beat Cheap Channel had an all disco station ( LMAO yes disco in the new millenium ) on 1035 as Mega 1035 WMGE, that also failed miserably

dont know why all of a sudden easy listening is booming in miami but a factor for WFEZ's success could be its HD-2 sister station Party 931.
they have about 2 thousand facebook fans compared to easys 1700. and also miami is legendary for dance/ club music, im still confused as to why there isnt a FM dance station in miami even though party used to be...

dont know why all of a sudden easy listening is booming in miami but a factor for WFEZ's success could be its HD-2 sister station Party 931.

The listening for an HD2 channel is not added to the listening to the main channel.

And, when the PPM cume for a top Miami station is around 1,000,000, a difference in a few hundred Facebook friends is irrelevant.

In the sales demos, WLYF is in its long-term historical range. While WFEZ has grown in recent months in the money demo, it has not been at WLYF's expense.

Magic continues its downward trend and they are a shadow of what they use to be. In my opinion Scott Shannons True Oldies Channel on WAFC is a much better oldies station.

Actually, a more pop 70's core format that gets rid of the edgy rock-leaning stuff would likely do much better among the large Hispanic population. Going older, in the style of WAFC, would be even worse than what they have.

WEDR should get Steve Harvey.....and see who wins the rating war..Harvey or Joyner
