Are the numbers out today in Burlington, Central Vermont and the Upper Valley?

Any word?

Looks like Rutland stations took the top spots again. Combined market books are so inaccurate.
The interesting battle is between KIXX and WOLF. They are tied at number 3. KIXX regained some ground this book, but the WOLF continues to climb. Looks like dumping deadweight Jason and keeping Traci put 100.5 back in contention. Congrats to KIXX.

WVRR and WGXL did not fare well at all. Does anybody even
know who is doing the morning show on GXL? I've heard at least 5 different voices in the past month and none of them were good. If they were smart they'd bring back Chris Garrett. He MADE GXL back in the day. VRR/MXR...what's the deal with that anyhow? Is that going to Sports/Talk? It would be a shame to lose the BUZZ thought the numbers show they weren't able to carry the station this time around.

Who is OM in that cluster now? Who is PD for KIXX and GXL? Do they even have one? Any plans to reunite the old HC/Shapire marriage? I'm sure more changes are in the air.

All Very good points uvradioguy#2!!!! ;D Interestin' to see all this up here on the farm in Sharon this mornin'! The boyz and I were just speakin' with my big girlfriend at cc and the latest newz is the UV Radio has more changes a comin'. They've hired an OM from within the company....Brian Ryea, who for years was the morning sex pot board-op on IMUS!! Grrrrrrrr! Ken Barlow is back as the Consultant for the cluster and we could see the return of Ray Reed & Tom Hoyt as a possible new morning duo. Now there's a dramatic snooooozer! :p I'm almost ready to have the boyz make the switch back from Kixx to the annoying wolf out in the barn...if only to listen to my sexy sweetheart hunk of man, Matt in the Morning! wink-wink!!! He makes me tingle all over! Woo Hoo!!!

Ms. Mary ;)

I'm sorry, Ms. Mary....did you say Tom Hoyt? Morning host?? The FUVMI???? And Mr. Mic thinks I am a putz...Tom was a tool on tv, and I sure as heck wouldn't let him handle anything of mine...especially my money in his role of a banker. Speaking of handling things of mine...nah, nevermind, that would be too easy.

We'll talk more about that later.

SCRADIOJOCK! You animal! Yeah, this lil ol' gal said Tom Hoyt! You've got it, they're justing waitin' for him to drop the ball with his current employer before he goes shufflin' back to the airwaves in the upper valley!...hehe, shouldn't be long now! Oh, and don't you get me started about handlin' things! yee haw! You know my big girlfriend at cc and I could give you a run for your money up here on the farm in Sharon! wink-wink!

Ms. Mary ;)

A very impressive book by the Wolf. It's clear that format/formula is working quite well in a number of different areas. I was also surprised with the first book performance of Free Beer and Hot Wings. Traditionally those shows can take a couple of books to show some legs, but not here. No offense to any Imus fans, but you had to wonder how much longer a predominantly 50+ morning show could survive on a Classic Rock radio station without bringing the whole thing down. I hindsight, I think Q106 has to be happy with everything that transpired because Free Beer is much, much better suited to this station and the ratings demonstrated it right out of the box.

I'm not so impressed by how well all of Nassau stations did this time around as I am UNIMPRESSED by how poorly JEFFY radio did in the Upper Valley. Greg and the morning Buzz got sawed in half, XL 92 was non-existant, and the WOLF, to your point, continues to bite KIXX where it hurts.

And it'll probably get even worse, as the trade machine and cheap spots load up in the place of music.

It seems that Nassau's stations did fine considering none of them cover the entire market.. Oldies went up, Wolf parred Kixx, the Fox went up, and even the Score showed up in the ratings.. Not too bad for what these ratings are actually worth and mean.. Once the former CC stations get totally going under it's fine local ownership, they will move forward..
