Arbitron changes - affecting Atlanta?

How will the new Arbitron changes - that will include non-comms in the overall reporting process - affect Atlanta non-comms?

For instance, I've heard for a long time, that if Atlanta's NPR station were reported in the Atlanta Book, it would be number 1, 2, or 3 (i.e. quite a high rated station)...

If that is true and if it becomes more publicly known that the non-comm is a high ratings-getter, how will that affect the commercial stations and/or NPR's ability to "sell" more underwriting?

From what I've been able to piece from WABE over the years, they'd be a solid top 10 performer in the 25-54 realm, esp. in mornings and late afternoons. I'll call WABE today and see where they'd be right now.

A non-comm in this market would be rated #1 - 3 if it was counted? In what obscure demo is that? Let's be real!

i heard that among 25-54 in the spring, WABE-FM was No. 8 in mornings and drivetime during the news talk shows but No. 21 middays when the play classical and the audience skews much much older.
