Arbitron expands its diary panel

In this still pre-PPM world, Atlanta's spring Arbitron book will see an expansion of the number of diaries from about 3,650 to closer to 4,000, an approximate 10 percent increase. I heard this from John Dickey at Cumulus, who had been complaining loudly to Arbitron about the company's inability to reach a proportionate number of 18 to 34 year olds, causing extra volatility for its stations such as 99X.
