Arbitron PPM

Having installed a couple of the Arbitron PPM encoders on broadcast stations, I wonder if the day will come that someone will be able to create a decoder for DXers? The encoded stations have a stream mixed with the audio that is easily decoded just by having the decoder within earshot of the radio. It goes without saying that a DXer with one of these devices could have an ID on any encoded station within seconds. The question is...when, if ever, will a DXer find a way to decode this aural watermark? To give you an idea of how robust this data is, when testing it, I simply hold a telephone up to a portable radio and the Arbitron people at the other end can decode it--OVER A TELEPHONE!
