Looks like WYSP had a huge P2 book. I haven't seen information on other stations yet, but apparently O&A and Kidd Chris had fairly big months. I'm sure that won't make some people here happy :p but it is a potential sign of things to come. I'm most interested to see what MMR did.
 
i can't stand Kidd Chris they should just flip to Active of Alternative all the time.

Well, it looks like in just one month, YSP's ratings increased 24% while MMR did 6% and they captured the coveted 18-34 male market for drive time. I don't know how you'd justify flipping to another format with that growth just one month into a huge lineup change. Alt rock has been done here, which is why it's not here anymore.

Everyone in the biz knew Radio One put Y100 on auto pilot until the time was right to pull the plug. It has been stated, even on the corporate website, they know how to program to a certain audience and they do just that. Anything outside of the target audience is not in their interest. Some would say its narrowcast, but you can't blame a company for focusing on one specific demo.

With that being said, YSP is only going to gain ground on YSP with O&A at the helm. A flip to alt.rock is not necessary. Also, the final shoe has yet to drop (think WTHK)...
