Arch Madness No Longer On QFM96

Longtime afternoon host "Arch Madness" has parted ways with QFM96 as of this Monday (7/7).
That certainly seemed to always be a play on Bonneville head Arch Madsen.

Arch L. Madsen (December 4, 1913 – April 7, 1997) was the founder of Bonneville International and a president of KSL.[1] He was a recipient of the Peabody Award, the Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of Broadcasters, and the "Giant in Our City" award from the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce

Much more likely to be a play on "March Madness," the NCAA's official nickname for its annual college basketball postseason tournament. Given your well-known, and nearly total, lack of interest in U.S. sports, the reference probably slipped right past you.
