Let me set the story straight. I have known Bill for many years and he is a stand up guy and one of the most straight forward and honest people I have ever worked for. For the record Bill was NOT let go. He was offered a great opportunity back in his home area and the choice was his. He was never asked to leave at any point. This was of his own free will and nothing else. If you people choose to gossip as you do then at least get the FACTS straight.

FACTS? Ohhh boy, do I have facts....where do I start? lol
Here's a fact....Bill Fired me for lame reasons...I was fired because I didn't let that company take advantage of me, I spoke up when nobody else did and wasn't scared to tell the truth. THAT'S A FACT!
I'm upset because people like Bill made me out to be a negative cry baby instead of someone who isn't a doormat and someone who cared about a radio station he spent 13 years at... trying to do all I possibly could without giving so much of myself that I was burnt out...People like Bill don't care that they burn their staff out, it's about money, making deadlines and making everyone else look like the bad guy....It's not about appreciating the ass busting staff, it's about calling a meeting and bitching that the vans are dirty after you're staff spends 50-80 hours a week doing free events, it's about writting up your morning guy (me) for not playing "Battle of The Sexes" one morning, It's about making your morning guy call the PD at 3:30 EVERY SINGLE MORNING (Unwarrented) to make sure he was there for prepping the morning show or he would get written up...Anyone who knows me, knew the dedication Crystal and I had to that station and to our show...we were micromanaged and our hands were tied by consultants and lack of $$$$$ Please don't tell me Bill was a stand up guy...I don't want to hear it!
So why did Bill leave? He loved the area (told me himself)...he had enough money (told me himself)...Either he realized he screwed that company up and left before he was fired or he was asked to leave on his own...either way he's gone and it's just another day in the halls of Archway broadcasting in Eastern Carolina

That's an interesting way to look at it and you may very well be right BUT there comes a point where you find time to appreciate and go above and beyond for a staff that works as hard as The Hot Fm's staff works. You stand up to your boss (CATHY), you make it a point to let them know that you have a staff that is willing to take bullets, work non-stop and willing to sacrafice anything to win. That's what The Hot Fm staff has done for Archway and they didn't get backed...Bill may of been another pawn but as a manager YOU HAVE TO BACK A GREAT STAFF AND YOU HAVE TO GET SOME BALLS not fire them to save your job or it will come back to bite you in the ass...
One more thing....A heads up for anyone looking to get out of their non-compete contract...It's simple....Get fired and be good at it...NC is a right-to-work state...Non-competes only hold if you quit...get fired and be creative in how you get fired! If a non-compete is held over your head after you are fired...get it in writting or have a witness there when your ex-employer tells you this...Then take them to court! You will win or they will settle out of court with you before you go to court....just a little info for anyone looking to leave a bad situation right now...It's not all one sided

Everything she saying is true...As soon as any truth was spoken you became a target by these people...lies were made up about you and they did what they had to do to get you out!
I'm not sure what you're hearing about some of the sales people guidoponzini but I'm willing to bet you're hearing it from someone who may be mislead or is intentionaly misleading you.
I was FORCED AND UNDER DISTRESS when signing a non-disclosure affidavit stating I won’t talk about certain lies and rumors that were spread about one of the females I think you’re talking about. I came to this persons defense and was treated like I was the enemy by Bill and Cathy…That’s when the case against me started at Archway Broadcasting…I’ve probably signed 3 or 4 affidavits on various things I know about Archway…

All anyone has to do, is to read your words a few times to conclude that you are an angry, foul-mouthed, poisonous reptile who will stop at nothing to dismantle someone’s credibility and reputation for whatever reason you think actionable, especially if you smell their vulnerability. Bill was new to the market, new to the GM position and new to the company yet you were already setting the traps within a few months of his arrival.
I am tickled by your admission to ‘walking out on a sinking ship’ and that you ‘speak only the truth’. If I didn’t know the circumstances, my first impression would be to say, with the appropriate sarcasm, thanks for the loyalty and team player mentality, it doesn’t take much to send you packn’…does it?
Oh, and speaking of packn’…I wouldn’t define your short-lived, on-air endorsement claims as words of a 'truth teller' ….would you? Whatever the motivation, it not only makes for a good example of false advertising but also speaks well of your willingness to scale-down the accuracy of the truth. No pun intended….OK, the pun was intended.
The book on you has been written and the details are ugly and you are anything but a team player, in fact you were quite the opposite. You were a behind-the-scenes ‘playa’ and helped create the sinking ship atmosphere by seeding and fostering the growth of a tense, untrusting and almost Gestapo like environment where a lot of bad karma emerged (I remember that day you thought someone lifted your keys…what a show….what a revelation).
Bill had no experience as a GM and made several mistakes you would expect from inexperience plus he was calling Kathy’s plays directly from Kathy’s playbook. But he had no chance to learn from any of what was happening because he was being berated behind his back to the staff and to corporate which disintegrated any chance of building any support or respect. Hell, he had it flying at him from twenty different directions causing unnecessary distractions. Without those distractions he may have been able to manage things a little better.
Your spin on what took place lives and breathes only in your world and the only person who might believe that you’re innocent is your MOMMA. I pity the people you work with today because they are tomorrow’s victims of whatever goes on in that thorny mind of yours.

Next Media? I had a friend who worked for them in PA...they don't have drama they just fire you. What's up with the Chris Man guy? Is he just a stiff--yes man or something? He's been passed over every single time there was a pd opening. I guess he just can't do it or doesn't want to join the ranks of previous pds. Who knows? And what happened to the Flav guy that was on in the mornings? He was good the two times I heard him. Oh well, back to the car lot.

I'm not sure who you are "guidoponzini" but I do know this you wear some real ROSE colored glasses. If you worked with me at Archway then you would know that I worked my ass off for that company. A 60 hour work week was a normal week and I went above and beyond trying to keep records and financials straight in New Bern and Atlanta. The only time I went behind Bill's back to corporate was when I was leaving. And that is when I told what I knew - Bill never went out on sales calls with his AEs, played games on the computer in his office all day, and needed some serious training if he was going to survive as a GM.
There is NO "angry, foul-mouthed, poisonous reptile" here!!!! I don't care what happens to Archway or the staff the remains there. There are no "derogatory comments" to be made from my end - the writting on the wall shows exactly what is going on at Archway. Lets see: they let their morning show go, numerous traffic people have come and gone, Bill left, ratings are in the can, and revenue is at an ALL time low. There's no BAD karma coming from me, it looks like the remaining staff at Archway is doing a good job creating their own bad karma.
