Are entire threads sometimes deleted?

There was a recent thread that was kinda silly, but someone made a good point that I wanted to respond to. The thread has since disappeared.

I don't know what was posted after I last looked, but I can no longer find the thread. I thought individual posts were removed if offense but otherwise threads were locked and remained.

Just curious, thanks.

There was a copyright problem with a thread I had once posted. I was given the option by a moderator to either edit or delete the thread. I chose the latter.

Without knowing what thread you are questioning about, I cannot answer. I have recently removed a few duplicate topics, but there have also been a couple which started with someone violating the terms of service and id I remove the original post, there's nothing that can be retained afterwards.

Thanks, that makes sense.

The thread I was referring to was something like "What radio stations don't you listen to."

Certainly not an important topic but there were a couple of amusing replies and someone said something about what turns people off that I was going to reply to.

No big deal. This forum keeps getting better!
